Senior Guard

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a security officer or in a related role.

Junior Guard

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a trained security officer with a diploma is preferred.
  • Experience: Some proven work experience as a Security Guard or in a relevant position is beneficial.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
    • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
    • Good surveillance skills and detail orientation.
    • Integrity and professionalism.

  • Responsibilities may include protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment, observing for signs of crime or disorder, investigating disturbances, and acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property
 

 

 

Private Guard

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is beneficial.
  • Certification: Valid PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) registration is often required.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a security officer or in a related role.
  • Skills:
    • Competency with a handgun, if applicable.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

  • Thorough understanding of operating systems and IT infrastructures such as networking, servers, and databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Upgrade, repair, and replace computers and printers as needed.
  • Manage user permission issues on multiple systems including iSeries, JDA, Windows, VPN, and industry standard applications.
